Hotels In Anaheim, California: The Ultimate Guide

Anaheim, California is one of the most traveled to places in the United States because of its main attraction: Disneyland. A whopping 14 million people visit the theme park every year from all around the world. Anaheim is also within driving distance of Los Angeles. This results in plenty of hotels, both cheap and expensive, all around the city. In this blog, we will cover some of the popular locations to visit and the best hotels and lodges in Anaheim. Follow along!

The number one travel destination, unsurprisingly, is Disneyland. As of the time of this article, they have more than 140 things to do. Some include Guardians of the Galaxy, Radiator Springs Racer, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Adventureland Treehouse, and Alice in Wonderland. Tickets are a little over $100 per person, and the busiest time to visit Disneyland is in the summer and on weekends. I highly recommend getting there early or you could be waiting in long lines at both the entrance and at rides. There are dozens of hotels and lodging options just on the border of Disneyland - all within walking distance. Dozens more are within walking distance. Prices in the summer can range from $100 to $400 a night.

Knott’s Berry Farm is not nearly as big as Disneyland Resort, but it still draws crowds (about 4 million a year). The theme park has 43 attractions in total, 9 of which are roller coasters and 2 of which are water rides. Some of the rides include the Calico Mine Road, Coast Rider, GhostRider, HangTime, and Laguna Storm Watch Tower. For the month of October, they change their name to Knott’s Scary Farm. This event draws many of their visitors and most of their media attention.

Other than the theme parks in the area, of which Southern California has many, there is the beach. Huntington Beach has the best beaches, in my opinion, because you have hundreds of feet of sand. That means less crowding! There are also a few piers to fish off of or to breathe in the fresh air.

There are also Angel Stadium and the Honda Center where the Angels, Ducks, and Lakers play. They are across the highway from each other, so the traffic can be horrendous at times. These buildings are only a few miles away from Disneyland and also have a lot of hotel accommodation options. El Royale Hotel is a good option if you're in the area of Universal Studios Hollywood.
