Take a break and enjoy Old Town Park’s peaceful setting. The 5-acre park has a large playground, soccer fields, a baseball field, a basketball court, and picnic tables. In this blog, we’ll cover everything there is to know about this park.
This video from Maggie Rodriguez has a beautiful song at the park!
There is a parking lot off of Feron Boulevard that has 27 spaces and 2 handicapped spaces. This parking lot is often full. There is also a little bit of parking at the end of Main Street. Across the street, Rancho Cucamonga Middle School has a few dozen parking spots.
The baseball field is next to the playground. It has benches for the players, but no shade covers. There are also no bleachers for the parents, so they will have to stand or bring their own chairs. Bring an umbrella or sunscreen, too!
The soccer fields are past the baseball field. The number of fields will vary, but there will usually be at least one field that has painted lines and goalposts. There are also lights so that games can be played during the night.
The green space is perfect for any games that you or your kids want to play, like football, soccer, baseball, frisbee, and cornhole.
There are 0.27 miles of sidewalks in the park. Most of them go around the baseball field and soccer fields. There are some benches scattered along this path.
The basketball court is right next to the parking lot. It is full-sized, so anything can be played on it. All of the lines are painted, too.
Also next to the parking lot is a large bathroom and water fountains. They aren’t in bad shape as of late.
There are multiple picnic tables under shade shelters, along with some barbeque grills. This is why Old Town Park is so wonderful for spending time with others.
Brittany Hoosier describes the park as, "Love that this playground is foam bottom and no sand. Has bigger kid area and smaller kid slide area. Baby swings and plenty of picnic tables. Large grass baseball field and walking trail around the park. It has restrooms."
Old Town Park Playground
Old Town Park Playground has some benches, trash cans, and picnic tables with shade. The playground has a soft rubber flooring, which is so much better than wood chips.
The playground has 2 bucket swings, a spring rider, numerous slides (8 in total), ladders, games, a swirly fireman pole, jungle gym equipment, a bridge, monkey bars, and so much more.
There are two separate playgrounds for children with different skill levels; everyone will be happy for a long time!
