Wonderstone at Glacier has an outdoorsy exterior and a very modern interior. The rooms have hardwood floors; you will feel at home in this lodging. There is also a wonderful view of the Swan Mountain Range, which is only a mile away. It is the cheapest option during the winter.

Both the inside and outside of Glacier Basecamp Lodge have an outdoorsy atmosphere. There is the Big Sky Waterpark right across the stress, and the Swan Mountains just a mile away. Unfortunately, this lodge is only open from June 3 and October 1 - this is why this hotel ranks lower on this list.
Price: $300 per night in the summer.

If you want a cabin all to yourself, then Glacier Acres Guest Ranch is the place for you. Located a few minutes away from Columbia Falls, you will be in a very quiet area with plenty of stars to gaze at. It’s the cheaper summer hotel option in the area.

Recreational Opportunities Near Columbia Falls
1. Glacier National Park
Considered to be among the best national parks in the country, Glacier National Park offers dozens of hikes with amazing views. Some short hikes include Avalanche Lake, Hidden Lake Overlook, and Rocky Point. Longer hikes include The Garden Wall, Cracker Lake, Iceberg Lake, and Blackfoot Glacier. There are plenty of short hikes that give unforgettable views! Kalispell is another popular town for people going to the park.
2. Whitefish Lake

3. Flathead Lake
